The Intermediate Program audition

BURKLYN BALLET THEATRE AUDITION GUIDELINES
Dancers should arrive at least one half hour in advance to complete a brief audition application and prepare for a 1-1/2 to 2 hour advanced intermediate class (depending on attendance), which will include pointe work for female dancers.
There is a $25.00 charge for the class (unless other arrangements have been made), payable by check or in cash. Photos, bios and teacher recommendations are not required.
In cities where there are not separate auditions for the Intermediate Program, 10-12 year old dancers should plan to attend the regular audition. Intermediate Program dancers must be 10 before January 1 of the year they are attending. 12 year old dancers will be accepted into the program best suited for them.
Dancers are also chosen for The Edinburgh Connection at these regular auditions. Dancers will be notified of acceptance within two weeks following the audition.
Video Auditions should be sent to the New Jersey address. DVD format is preferred.
