Train Like a Company. Perform Every Week.
At Burklyn Ballet Theatre, your summer is more than a series of technique classes — it’s a fully immersive company experience. This rhythm of class, rehearsal, and performance mirrors the structure of a professional ballet company — giving dancers the rare opportunity to develop not only their technique, but their artistry, stamina, and stage presence.
A Summer Intensive That Doesn’t Just Teach Ballet — Dancers Become Performing Artists
Each day begins with rigorous ballet technique, followed by pointe, variations, partnering, contemporary, and specialty classes. Afternoons shift into rehearsals as dancers prepare repertoire for weekly performances, working closely with master teachers and choreographers.
By the end of each week, the studio work comes to life on stage.
- 3+ technique classes every day — ballet, pointe, pas de deux, modern, contemporary, jazz, variations.
- Daily rehearsals in addition to class — because performance readiness matters.
- Weekly public performance — not a showcase, a real performance.
- Housing & meals included — all-in tuition with no hidden costs.
- Small counselor-to-student ratio for safety and growth.

A legacy of training, performance, and lifelong connections.

What began as a small summer program has grown into a community that spans the globe, with alumni performing, teaching, choreographing, and leading dance programs around the world.
In 2026, we honor this remarkable journey and the people who made it possible — the dancers, teachers, staff, and families who helped shape the Burklyn story.
